The Philosophy of Rest
Unwind was born from a desire to create a different kind of hotel experience—one grounded in mindfulness, design, and genuine hospitality.
Built by hand, slowly, with intention.
Unwind began the way the best things do — unplanned.
Arees, along with a group of friends, had been hosting the Gharo Festival on the farm for the village community — an evening of music, food, and the kind of gathering that only happens on land that has known people for generations.
Seerat was there. At some point during that night, watching guests reluctant to leave as the fire died down, she turned to him and said: we should let people stay.
So they started building. Every element chosen to foster calm and connection — from the textiles in the rooms to the way the dastarkhwan is laid for dinner.
On their wedding anniversary, they opened the doors for the first time. That night, Unwind stopped being a farm and became a place.
We are a family-run experience dedicated to creating moments of quiet beauty — for anyone who needs to remember what stillness feels like.
A Personal Philosophy of Rest
"We envisioned a place where the pace of the city fades away the moment you arrive. Not because we designed it to — but because the delta has always had that effect on people. We just stopped asking them to leave at the end of the evening. Every room, every meal, every space on this farm exists to give you back something the city quietly takes. Time. Stillness. Yourself."
